DJ Samaya
DJ SAMAYA a.k.a. Steven Truijens, is a DJ and music adventurer based in the Netherlands who is dedicated to weaving the finest selection of electronic world fusion music. Samaya founded the YouTube music channel, Shivelight, and saw his DJ sets gathered prominence on YouTube, gaining millions of plays and opening avenues for him to present his unique journeys to dancefloors. With overtones of psychedelic and ethereal music, Samaya creates journeys in a variety of sounds, including ecstatic dance, psychedelic, downtempo, world bass, sensual and high energy electronic music. Having played at many events and festivals across Europe, as well as being a resident Ecstatic Dance DJ at Odessa Amsterdam, Samaya is now expanding his reach to lands far beyond to spread those Shivelight flavours.
