The TJFA would not be possible without the help and energy of a big group of 50 volunteers. We are so happy that many of our volunteers are coming back every edition. We really appreciate their energy and honour them for it. Every year many people want to apply for a volunteer spot. 

Would it be suitable for you?

We advise people who are going through a rough time in their lives not to apply. For them it is better to enjoy the festival as a participant with enough time to regulate.

What do we offer/ask you?

It can be a great opportunity to meet people and feel part of the festival from the beginning. Together you share much more as part of the volunteer team than as a regular participant. Al volunteers sleep in the volunteer field, which makes the connection even easier. You can choose to come with your own tent or camper or rent a glamping tent with a bed. (Early Bird Volunteer Tickets before March 1st!)

We ask you to be available from Monday 15th 12.00 hrs. until Monday 22nd 13:00 hrs. to build and unbuild the festival. For a reduced rate and energy investment of average 4 hours daily, you can dive deeper in the festival experience and enjoy being part of the crew.

This edition we decided that every volunteer will have kitchen and sanitary tasks, it makes it easier to feel as a team and to make balanced schedules. You will get a schedule a couple of weeks before the festival begins. Then you have a week to swap. Reasons for swapping can be that you wish to do a task more or less or that you want to follow a certain workshop.

How does the festival week look like for a volunteer?

Monday 15th:We begin building the festival after potluck lunch. In the evening, we have team activities.

Tuesday 16th: We continue building up the festival and in the evening from 19:00 Early Festival Arrivals and some facilitators (around 30 people) join for the party eve.

Wednesday 17th: We welcome from 11:00 the participants and we hold the Opening Ceremony.

Thursday 18th , Friday 19th and Saturday 20th you will be taking care of: Kitchen, Cafe, Spa, Toilets, Showers, Dishwashing area charts. Chopping veggies, cleaning toilets and showers, selling coffee & tea and snacks at the cafe or taking care of the Hot tubs and Sauna's. The first shifts begin at 7:00 and the last ones can end at 22.00.

Sunday 21st after the Closing Ceremony and lunch we ask the public to assist us to wind down most of Festival props and items. Around 17:00 we stop and hang out for a while. We have dinner and a campfire sauna eve with the crew.

Monday 22nd in the morning items are picked up and put in storage containers. Most of the volunteers are leaving around lunchtime. 

Volunteer Ticket prices:

We have several volunteer tickets options depending on your accommodation. Early Bird Volunteer prices until February 28th 2026. We offer a lower price to early deciders because it helps a lot in our planning. Ticket prices vary from € 150,- till € 330,-, depending chosen accommodation 

From March 1st the volunteer ticket price will go up. Then the volunteer ticket prices will vary from € 200,- till € 430,- depending chosen accommodation. You do not need a Parking ticket but let us know if you come by car.

So small recap:

1. Volunteers are available from Monday 15th June 12:00 until Monday 22th June 13:00 As we are building and closing the festival together.

2. There will be a pre festival program on Monday to get to know each other, with special workshops, Sauna & Hot tubs will be on and a dancing party.

3. You will get your schedule a couple of weeks before the festival and you can swap with each other. You will work an average of 4 hours per day.

4. After application you will get the links to all the volunteer tickets.
